Trivia: Even while most prevalent dals (such masoor, tur, urad, moong, and chana dal) are used almost everywhere, each state has its own favourite. While all of these dals share an earthy creaminess, the aromatic tempering of spices used in each gives them distinct flavours that cannot be compared.

HEATING INSTRUCTIONS:
MICROWAVE:
1. Cut pouch and transfer the content to a microwave-safe container (provided), sprinkle some water.
2. Heat on high for about 60 seconds stir gently and repeat for 60 seconds.
3. Leave to stand for about 30 seconds and serve hot.
STOVE:
1. Thaw the pack for 1 hour and transfer the content to a pan, sprinkle some water.
2. Heat for about 5 minutes while stirring occasionally ensuring gravy is evenly hot.
